The first page of a book I think I might write
I wish I could tell you a breathless exciting story. Or for that matter, even just tell a story at all - I am secretly jealous of that Uncle we all seem to have who can gather the kids around him and weave a yarn so splendid that even the adults stop their daily rituals and listen, fascinated. However, this is not a forum for me to express my inadequacies, quite the opposite, I’d like to use...

I’m being serious here. I don’t know how?
It’s easy in college, when you’re surrounded by people your own age, in classes with people who share common interests, meeting new people every day, etc etc.
But…then once you’re out of that scene, how do you find people? How do you make friends?
Part of the problem probably is due to my unbearable...

The Pink Panthers - an international group of jewel thieves, some of whom are in jail, have already stolen over $132 Million in jewelry. That’s the part that has been reported at least.

Justifying the iPhone

Casey Liss debates Verizon-vs.-iPhone:
My wife and I are currently Verizon Wireless users. We’re due to get a $100 credit on new phones at the end of January, thanks to Verizon’s “New Every Two” program.
Unfortunately, things haven’t changed much in that Verizon has (in my opinion) far and away the best network.
I’m not sure how they compare where you live, but in the NYC metro...

When you call B&H, you speak to an intelligent, motivated, non-outsourced, English-speaking human in New York City, right in their store which is also their warehouse, who has great knowledge of the product line and the power to change things and get things done for great service.
It’s so sad that this is so unusual. The best way that I can support it is to shop there whenever I...

Company Names
Have to come up with a name for a company. Anyone have any good names that they can suggest?
Few Requirements:
i) The .com name must be available
ii) The name can’t imply anything specific in terms of what the company does (No Acme Bakery for instance :) since this company is going to do many things, some of which I am not even aware of yet I hope :)
iii) Pronounceable - don’t...

Breakfast of Champions
Breakfast has consistenly been a problem for me - I usually only consider it worth the effort, when it’s well done, and usually when I cook - that isn’t been the case.
So, this morning was a pleasant surprise. Its not even 7:45 a.m. and I’ve made myself Turkish Eggs, a strawberry smoothie, and had a glass of milk.
I think, this will be a good week.
Turkish Eggs
Ingredients :
1 Cup Yogurt
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Salt
Process :
Toss the Yogurt into the oven/Toaster over and turn it on to Pre-heat at 350 degrees. (Note, it has to be a cold oven, we don’t want to bake the yogurt, just warm it up to the point where it’s bordering on hot. Also note, doing this in the microwave is a bad idea)
